Fender Covers for Auto Repair

Fender covers act to protect the outer body gel coat and paint surrounding the engine compartment from scratches and damage from spilled engine fluids.

Consider the following features when evaluating fender covers:

Coverage. With protection products, coverage is key! Make sure the fender cover is large enough to protect a large area of the fender or grill area of the vehicle.

Durability. A quality fender cover is resistant to punctures and long-term wear, and does not permit spilled engine fluids to leak though to the paint.

Stability. Consider a fender cover that stays in place and does not easily slide off.

Loose Tool and Part Handling. Many Fender Covers are equipped with ridges or are made of a "gripping" material with lots of friction to allow loose tools and parts to rest on the fender cover without easily sliding off.
